I had a spring dance on Friday night from 6:30 to 9:30. I got dressed up a bit, and went to it. I was hoping I’d get to slowdance with my crush, he knows I like him. I did last year as well. But he would always make fun of me or laugh at me.So, my crush wasn’t there and I was depressed for a part of the dance, until I saw a boy who caught my eye. I stared at him, until I couldn’t stand myself and went up.. This is how the conversation went.
" Hi, I’m Mahrie, what’s your name?"
"Hey, I’m ____".
- Smiles and walks away-.
A few minutes or a hour later, I couldn’t dance very well, and I would sort of try to. Until he approached me and I talked again.
"Dance!"
" I can’t, I don’t know how to."
"Make up your own moves, have fun."
"um, okay."
I danced and then, he walked away once more.
I went over to my friends, and he was there, so after he danced with my friends he came up to me AGAIN, and said
" Do you have a cell phone / or a house phone?"
"No, I don’t have a cell phone, but I do have a house phone."
FORWARDDDDD To the end, he danced with my friends too, and he slowdanced with one of my friends, I just stared and he looked at me a few times. When she/he released each other, he came to me, and asked me if I wanted to dance with him. Of Course, I accepted, but my brothers were coming to pick me up. They are really overprotective, so this is what I said.
" Would you like to dance?"
"Um, okay. " I said hesitantly.
- I grabbed his hand, and pulled him by the water fountain, then I wrapped my arms around his neck and his went to my waist.-
The song that was playing was Halo. I told him my brothers were coming in 2 minutes, and he replied " 2 minutes exact?" . "No, but they’re coming". "Oh, so if they see me, they’ll kick my ___?"
"Yes, " I said laughing/smiling. I felt so comfortable with him, and I felt like we were the only 2 people there. Until, my friend’s came along, and said "YOU’RE SLOWDANCING!", "I’M SO PROUD OF YOU!", blah blah blah. I didn’t care how long the dance with him lasted, as long as I did. I might like him, because I found out on his facebook that he has sort of the same interests as I do. But, he’s a year younger then I am.

BQ2: Should I get over the person I had/Have a crush on?
BQ3: Do you think he likes me back?

I’m sorry, if this was long, I just felt like telling someone.

Take it easy!

If he is interested he will find you. If not, he will drift to another. Better he drifts before you get involved than later.

If he didn’t like you much he would never have risked your brothers catching him. Or even bothered with that dance.

Right now all your hormones are screaming at you. Take it easy…. let a freindship grow if that is possible.
