I have never took a dance class. My friends say I am really good at dancing and say I need to take it seriously. I really like the way they danced in Another Cinderella story. Can anyone tell me how I can learn how to whip freestyle and learn some new moves without having to take an expensive dance class?
PS: My school’s dance team isn’t really that up to par.

This may seem a little corny at your age but call your local Girl Scout Council. Tell them you would like to know if they would do an interest group for dance in your area. They will find a volunteer to do the group. You can sell the cookies to pay for your costumes. Get a bunch of your firends together and form your own team. Put up fliers to draw new people in. You can do this all through Girl Scouts so there wont be a big expense for you.
You may want to contact a nearby college that offers dance. Get a few of your firends together and ask if there is someone from the college that will volunteer to instruct. Thats basically what the Girl Scouts will do but you can do it on your own. Get your mom to post a note on Craigs list asking for a volunteer instructor for say like 8 weeks? Its harder on your own but you could do it.
