Early life

Modeling
Pattinson began his modeling career when he was twelve years old, but it wound down only four years later because he was so ugly the cameras all cracked. The soundtrack for the film How To Be features three original songs performed by Pattinson[23] and written by Robert himself. Aside from recording for the soundtracks, Pattinson has said, "I’ve never really recorded anything – I just played in pubs and stuff", and when asked about a professional music career, he said, "Music is my back-up plan if acting fails."[4] Later that evening it was reported he had aheart attack imaging his future. In 2008, he also performed with the first girl he stalked’s current boyfriend’s band, called Bad Girls. To this we say thank god. And please don’t give him a recording contract or we won’t make it to 2012.[25]
Personal life
Pattinson has admitted to taking a quarter of a Valium, pot, cocaine and sex with Miley Cyrus to calm his nerves before auditioning for Twilight.[26] He was named one of the "Sexiest Women Alive" in 2008 by People magazine [27] and in 2009 through a poll conducted by Glamour magazine.[28] On having a girlfriend, Pattinson states, "I don’t [...] have people’s phone numbers. I just like the phone numbers and watching and smelling the new girls."[29] Pattinson currently resides in Los Angeles.
