What can you all tell me about Derek Hough?
I really do love watching him and his choreography is so awesome and his energy is amazing.
If you could tell me basically about his life a little and all his partners he has had so far on Dancing With The Stars that would be so great. Thanks!! ^_^
Derek Hough was born in 1985 in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1998, he and his sister, Julianne Hough, moved to London to further their dance training with world renowned dancing couple, Corky and Shirley Ballas.
Derek is a former world champion in Latin American Dance,
On the fifth season he partnered with Jennie Garth (earning 4th place in the competition)
On the sixth season he partnered with actress Shannon Elizabeth (earning 6th place in the competition). They are currently dating.
He returned for the seventh season, this time partnered with Brooke Burke, and won the competition.
He is in a band with his friend Mark Ballas.
I also love his energy and choreographing.

Jennie Garth was his partner, Hough was born in 1985 in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1998, he and his sister, Julianne Hough, moved to London to further their dance training with world renowned dancing couple, Corky and Shirley Ballas. He attended and subsequently taught at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. Hough played the role of Ren McCormack in both the UK Tour and the West-End run of Footloose the Musical.
