Carrie Ann didn’t “call her” on the lift because there is no lift, Mya’s bent leg is in contact with the floor during the entire spin. I suggest you look at the HD version on a decent-sized screen.
Mya’s an amazing dancer: elegant, powerful and lovely to watch. Without Mya on this show my DWTS season pass would have been removed from my DVR a couple of months ago.

Are you posting this on every video? She wasn’t a dancer, she sang a song in the movie while the main characters danced! Please stop this smear campaign. She’s on the show, the producers know her background and this is just pure hate.

Wow, anyone who has a problem with Mya’s work on this show just has problems. I am sure the show’s creator’s know their rules/guidelines, it seems childish to keep whining. Give credit where due — Simply beautiful!!!

I can’t believe Carrie Ann didn’t call her on that lift!
Can you prove she ” …
Can you prove she “beat out countless other professional dancers”? She’s not the first person to be on this show with some NON BALLROOM dancing experience but people are making a big deal about her because she’s the only good dancer on a season of mediocre/bad dancing. Melissa Rycroft, Kristy Yamaguchi, Sabrina Bryan, and Mel B did not get this much criticism because their seasons had multiple good dancers.
