    OMG! You should not …
OMG! You should not be teaching! That is NOT a lock step. First of all it’s called a lock chasse. Secondly, the leg that crosses behind is supposed to have a bent knee and the heel of the back foot is up. The bending and straightening of your knees provide a natural hip action which represents the iconic Latin body movement with the Cha Cha Cha.
