On To The Dance Floor With Salsa

By admin · Thursday, November 5th, 2009

Salsa may look difficult but aren’t all dances like that? If you give it a try, learn one or two basic steps and I know you’ll get hooked, millions of people have and they seem happy about it.

My friends used to enroll themselves in a gym to get fit of course. Their enthusiasm was unmatched during the first few sessions and then it slowly died until they no longer attended. Most of them said they had other things to do so they bailed out on their getting fit sessions.

I admire people who are good at dancing and have been doing it a long time, those who do it with so much grace and expression. If there is one thing I wished it would have been to have not waited so long to take a class.

More than getting fit, dance videos are designed for those who want to learn how to dance. I give credit to people who are good at dancing. To be good at any dance, people think that one should be born to dance, but I think otherwise. Yes, there are people gifted of this talent, but that doesn’t mean that if you weren’t born a dancer than you can never be a good one. I believe in the fruits of practice.

This is to say that people like me, who have discovered the interest in dancing at a later age, must not turn a pessimistic attitude towards it. Each movement might seem difficult but if you practice hard enough, you are always a step closer to perfection. There are dance schools out there, and dance videos as well. The latter proves to be of great help because you can take home your dance classes and practice every time you are in the mood.

There are many dances out there to choose from. But if you are looking for a dance that would fit your sexy attitude and your upbeat style then salsa dance would be perfect for you. This dance introduced by the Spanish has a popularity that reaches different members of the dance community worldwide. The steps are not very complicated and one can learn them fast.

If you want to get in shape and lose some extra pounds, there is no better way than learning how to dance. Imagine the amount of calories you’ll be shedding in each dance session!

If you do salsa dancing, you not only dance, you also stretch muscles for fitness and make your body a medium of self-expression, and an effective one at that. These are only few of the benefits people get from dancing. Add to the list meeting new people, being pro and competing, sharing your talent to the world while doing what you love.

To the novice, it may seem an impossible task, to commit oneself to dance, be frustrated at times, but the rewards are great. There is nothing more fulfilling than accomplishing something you have always wanted. Salsa may look difficult but aren’t all dances like that? If you give it a try, learn one or two basic steps and I know you’ll get hooked, millions of people have and they seem happy about it.

Does anyone know of a good place that offers Salsa music and a dance floor.?
My husband is from Puerto Rico. He grew up listening to and dancing to Salsa music. I am trying to find a restarant or club that plays Salsa music and has a dance floor somewhere in the Sacramento, Ca. Can anyone help? Please!

you should pick up the calendar section of your local paper or the weekly publications that are usually free and detail night life. i know of many places in Los Angeles, but that won’t help you.
