   If you just want to learn about it generally, go watch Shall We Dance.

   If you want to learn how to do it, go to a dance club – it's a lot easier to learn in person than from a book or video.

   Look up a local dance club, find out when their beginning class is, grab a friend for courage, and go. Everyone was a beginner sometime, and you always remember what that was like, so you'll be fine.
