I really want to try jazz or hip hop, or some type of dance, but don’t have time in the week to go into classes. Are there any websites where I could learn basic dance steps before i decide if I want to quit one of my activites?
Go to a dance school. You need to watch the teacher and the other students. You’ll get more benefit from a traditional dance school. Have fun.
dance requires practice….not something you can do online. i don’t know what your cable provider is but i have comcast…they actually have programs on demand that offer different dance classes…..if this isn’t an option..there are plenty of dance dvd’s out there….but online? not a great idea

I guess you could order dance tapes. Also depending on what tv system you have there are some channels on tv that can help you.
I would suggest going to the dance studio that your thinking about joining. See if they allow a trial period. Most studios allow the first one or two weeks of class free or at a low cost so you can see if you like it. If they don’t you could just pay for the first half of the year, that way if you don’t like it you won’t have to continue.
