well i want to learn to freestyle and all that cool stuff but i feel kinda held back,, im 13 (am i too old to begin?) im a girl (will i be taken seriously?) im white (will i be looked down on?) i want to learn cuz when i see dance vids on utube i can usually copy them without that many problems so i feel like i can become pro..
PS do u no of any not to pricey dance schools in Dallas Tx?
What I would do is start with ballet before you do any other kind of dance. Ballet is the base for everything. Do ballet for a while and every other kind of dance will be a load easier.
You’re never too old to start dance.
You will be taken seriously if you show how serious you are about learning.
If your teacher looks down on you because of your race, then find a new teacher. If your classmates do, then ignore them because you will always find negative people like that. Just do your best. Dance is universal, its not based on your skin color.
Google to find a studio in your area. Good luck and practice a lot!
