Ok I want to learn how to ballroom dance but there isn't anyone near who teaches and I don't want to hire a teacher(expensive). Anyone have any ideas how I could learn how to.
I am 14 and still go to high school. I just heard the girls love it. I also think it would be fun.

Look for a club. Many colleges have dance clubs (I'm learning Argentine Tango).

You can go to free local dance lessons/social events. Look them up here: http://www.itsaboutdance.com or learn from DVDs. read more:

If you live in NY i'll be your ballroom partner!
I am 16 years old and I have taken lessons for 2 years.
If that's not your style,
Do what everyone else is saying search around try to find a college team, Umm the only problem with going to open or social dances are that most of the people there are old enough to be your grandparents :[
So if I was you I would try a college team first because most of the kids there are going to be closer to your age it's free most of the time sometimes $5. So I say try a college team or just go take lessons
