I really really really really wanna learn how to dance, but is it too late?

I wanna learn hip hop, street style and im already 15. :( Is it too late? i have no previous dance experience really so i don’t even know what my potential is or even if i am good at it. i want to take classes once i get a job. is it too late to learn? can i still learn to be really good? i wanna dance like Jasmine Villegas:

how long do you think it would take for me to dance like her if i start at square 1?
should i get one on one classes to learn faster?

It’s NEVER too late to learn something new. Go for it and enjoy yourself!

    Of course it’s not too late. I know someone who’s 16 and she started ballet really recently and she just got accepted to a top dance college. Start hip-hop and enjoy yourself!

    Just like they all said, no its never too late. The best thing you can do is start a basic class and really pay attention. Listen to all the critique, stretch well, and don’t over do it in the beginning. Talk to your instructor and ask for some ‘homework’ to help define your skills.

    As for dancing like her, it all depends on your drive and passion for it. One on one lessons can be wonderful because the attention is focused entirely on you. But sometimes its more fun to do it in a class. Other dancers can help with some tips and tricks. Seriously though, don’t push yourself too hard in the beginning injuries are not fun.
