With all the time and energy celebrities put in, I would think they'd get paid something. Or does their salaries go to charities? Even ones eliminated first work for weeks sacrifice time for this. Is is strictly for publicity?

I am sure they get paid for a certain # of weeks regardless of how many episodes they are on before they are eliminated.
I love to dance but have never watched. I think dance should be free not choreographed.
