How can you dance at a party or club without looking stupid?

im guessing you have never really gone out clubbing yet, but never fear my friend. Everyone looks silly, what ever you do will be funny and just a laugh, no one is expecting a full performance. Remeber everyone is in thesame boat as you, just have some confidence in yourself 
most importantly have fun, you shouldnt feel uncomfortable
enjoy your partysssss

try flapping your arms up and down like a hawk while doing the head bang mixed in with a little irish foot dancing. The move is a legend and trust me you can’t look stupid. oh, and don’t forget to be screaming, "bomb!!!BOMB!!!!"

it’s easier said than done but the trick is to forget how you look altogether.
Just listen to the music and ‘feel’ the song.
If you don’t like the song or you aren’t feeling but you are still trying to dance THAT is when you’ll look stupid. Just stop dancing until a song comes on that you like then f**k everyone else and move your body!

Just dance as if you were dancing by yourself in the room, with no one looking at you. Forget about the other people and enjoy the moment. But you have to REALLY enjoy what you are doing in order to be natural. What you also need to understand is that other people are usually concerned about their performances, and therefore they are NOT paying attention to what you are doing. So, enjoy yourself and the music, forget about the crowd!

well it can be possible if you get yourself some good quality dancing lessons or get yourself into a saturday or sunday school which does both singing and dancing which will help you create a bigger act at clubs and parties and you will look professional not stupid hope i helped x
