What do you think? DO you think it looks good??? I wanna learn it. so i thought i’d ask a lot of ppl before starting my lessons.
It’s good that you are going to take lessons. I hope you have a good teacher and you’ll stay interested in it. (I’ve been dancing since 2005, and I really enjoy it.) You really should take lessons and practice at home for yourself. It’s a good way to exercise, make new friends, expand your musicality, and after you’ve been taking lessons long enough you might even get to perform!
Just to let you know, women tend to appreciate belly dance more than men – or at least this is true in my region. That’s okay because I’ve heard quite a few professional dancers say that when they perform at social events they dance for the women first. Belly dance showcase audiences are usually made up of women and their families. It’s also been in my experience that children like belly dancers the most; I think it’s because of all the sparkles and fun music.
Hmmm. I don’t think it matters one way or the other. Done right, it could be attractive, done wrong, it could be sleazy. I’m sure some guys like it, and some don’t.

yes, very much. And, at times, for fun, I watch belly dancing videos on the Net to see their beauty, and if there were a teen girl who was thinking of learning, I think she should be supported in her desire.
