So, basic question really. I have always wanted to dance, but I really cant. Are there any easy dance moves I can learn quick?
*no Crank Dat please -_-”*
yeah watch numerous music vids and copy some moves from each to make in into your own style in a way but the best thing to do is if you dont wanna do that is get somebody that already knows how to like a dance teacher or a friend and have them teach you how to dance…
(for making the dance steps flow together your gonna have to figure out how to transition from each step smoothly and not look so stiff while doing so) ~its kinda hard learning to dance and make it look GOOD if you dont have good rhythm so you may just need some help to make it look nice and make it seem as if you do know what your doing~
also are you a girl or a guy???
you should also mention what TYPE of moves you wanna do.

I think that most dances incorporate variations of the same moves over and over. You have to get the basic steps right and then work on the hip work and the general body movement.
It might sound old-fashioned, but I think you should start with some very basic classic dances such as the fox trot, the box (or square, or whatever it is called), the salsa, the waltz, and maybe even the the mamba and the cha cha cha. You never know when some of these dances might come in handy in social situations, and the sequences of steps tend to repeat in more contemporary forms of dance, at least social dancing. They are just different forms an movements to go with the steps such as: step forward with left foot, bring right foot beside it, step back with right foot, bring left foot beside it and then repeat starting with right foot forward OR left to the side, left to the side, right to the side, right to the side, back with left foot back with right foot, forward with right foot forward with left foot.
Below is some instruction on the salsa, which you may encounter in some form in jazz and hip hop floors. Remember, most dancers are not highly trained; they are just enthusiastic individuals who are having a good time and do not care about what other people think of their dancing.

The Internet really does not have much regarding footstep diagrams.
After you have learned some of the basic footwork, watch some pop videos and try to copy the moves of the performers you like. The dancing will improve with practice.
I hope this kind of dancing is what you had in mind.
