There are more projects involving the construction of more hotels and tourist towns but at present Cayo Santa Maria is pretty much the most unspoilt beach resort in Cuba. There is plenty of space available and the beach is never overcrowded.

The food offer is not bad considering the standards of Cuban Cuisine. This hotel is managed by the Spanish Hotel Chain ‘Sol Melia Hotels’ and their standards of service are higher than hotels managed by the Cuban Government. You can enjoy dishes from every corner of the world. Vegetables and fruit are seasonable and always fresh.

For those travelling with kids there is plenty of entertainment available everyday by the kids swimming pool and a show for children is held every other night at the kids club. If there are toddlers in your family the kids club will look after them free of charge if you wish to spend some time on your own.
