Posted on Friday in learn to dance | by

1.What genre of dance are you into?
2.Do you think is it too late to start dancing at the age of 18?
3.Do you attend any dancing class?..
If yes, how many hours a week or how many days a week?
If no, how did you learn it?

hey :)
I do ballroom and latin dancing
I dont think you are too old! I started when i was 10 im 14 now :) I do classes private lessons and group classes about 4-7 hours a week depending on if i have important things coming up or not.

Lots of professional ballroom/latin (but mainly ballroom) dancers started as adults so no you arent too old but i would say if yu wanted to be a professioanl ballerina you are too old because you wont be able to be as flexible and poepl who start young it comes as second nature haha, but for fun of course you can!

Please start itrs awsome i love dance its like my drug ahha xxxx

Well I do ballet, tap and jazz. Jazz is probably the best. I started when I was 2 years old, but I reckon dancing is great for any age. I only dance 2 hours a week, but its enough to keep me entertained.

You should definitely start dancing, its fun and a great way to keep healthy and fit.

Good luck and I hope this helped.

    xx

    I was 3 when I started (I haven’t skipped a year, and I’m 15 now.).

I dance ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip hop, and this year I’m getting involved in lyrical as well.

I don’t think it’s too late to start dancing at the age of 107! Never too old to dance.

Yes, I do attend dance classes:
It always depends on the schedule, as I have a different one each year, but each class is about 45 minutes long, with the exception of ballet, which is an hour long class. This year, I had modern, tap, jazz, and hip hop on Monday nights, from 5:50-9:10 and ballet on Tuesday nights from 7:30-8:30. Next year, the lyrical class I have signed up for will also be 45 minutes.

    =D

1.What genre of dance are you into? I mostly do ballet and pointe, but I have tried most other types of dance
2.Do you think is it too late to start dancing at the age of 18? No if you are doing it for recreational purposes, yes if you want to go professional.
3.Do you attend any dancing class?.. This year I signed up for many ballet and pointe and stretch classes. But other than that this year I am taking Character and Hip Hop.
If yes, how many hours a week or how many days a week? I dance every day of the week except Sunday because my studio is closed. I dance over 9 hours a week.
If no, how did you learn it?
P.S. I am 13 and started dance when I was young at 5. I know of many dancers that are 16 and found ballet frustrating so they moved onto things like hip hop and are amazing!

    2. It’s never too late to start! I started taking classes when I was about 8..
    3. I stopped a few years ago, but I’m thinking of starting to do contemporary. I used to take hip-hop, but it was kind of a beginner’s hip-hop. I also took ballet jazz classes at school (it was kind of like ballet with a twist) and I liked it so I took classes taught by a professional.

    1. I like to watch all kind of dance but specifically ballroom and latin.

    2. No way! You can dance at any age! I started at 14 and am completely addicted to it!

    3. I do freestyle, ballroom, latin, show and street dance.

I have 3 hours of lessons a week and make sure that I practice for at least an hour over the week. I also stretch for a half hour to an hour every day.

So that’s at least 4 hours a week really of solid dance

    Hope this helps

    I started learning at 13 – I’m 14 now haha.

    1) I like lots, but if I had to choose one I would say jazz. Especially Broadway jazz.
    2) Of course not! If you want to to be a professional then yes. Anybody can dance at any age.
    3) Yep! Well I take ballet, jazz, lyrical and hip hop. I also take dance at school. So that’s a total of about 9 hours a week.

You should totally do it! Dance is just so much fun and it keeps you in shape! <33
